American Diabetes Association receives $10,000 MassMutual Foundation Grant
Fort Lauderdale, FL, 2017 – The South Florida American Diabetes Association, a non-profit organization with a vision to see life free of diabetes and all its burdens, has received a $10,000 grant from the MassMutual Foundation as part of a national Community Service Award (CSA) program. The American Diabetes Association is one of twenty-two organizations nationally to receive an award. The MassMutual Foundation made the grant as a tribute to the volunteer efforts of Jeffrey Rotman with Rotman & Associates in Weston, Florida.

Jeffrey Rotman has been a Managing Director with Rotman & Associates for over 23 years in the South Broward community. He has been committed to the American Diabetes Association since 2012 and has dedicated countless hours of time and talent to help the organization grow and flourish.
It gives Jeff great satisfaction to know that he is making a difference in his daughter Jaimie’s life who has been struggling with Type 1 diabetes for over 17 years.
“I am very pleased that my dedication to the American Diabetes Association has been recognized by the MassMutual Foundation,” said Jeff. “This grant will provide much-needed funding to continue supporting our community through important free health education programs, including the Health and Wellness Festival at the Step Out Walk presented by Memorial Healthcare System.
